Description |
With Krannert's hard work and business sense, the company thrived. In 1930 the name changed to Inland Container Corporation and a second plant opened in Middletown, Ohio. The third box plant, in Evansville, Indiana, was added in 1937. During World War II, the U. S. government bought large quantities of Inland's moisture-resistant "V-Board" boxes. Growth accelerated in the mid-1940s as the number of sites, range of products, and base of customers expanded. |
