Description |
In his later years, Fortune left downtown Indianapolis to join his daughter Madeline’s family at their country home at Trader’s Point, north of the city. He remained in contact with many friends and acquaintances and continued with his work with the Red Cross until his death from a heart attack on January 28, 1942. |
