Description |
General Ferdinand Foch, a Frenchman, served as Supreme Commander of the Allied Armies in WWI. After the war, General Foch toured the United States, visiting select cities across the country. In Indianapolis to dedicate the corner stone of the headquarters of the American Legion; he was welcomed with a grand, celebratory parade. |
