On verso: "FREE DINNERS are served every Sunday night to men and women in uniform at the Indianapolis Servicemen's Center. MISS BEVERLY JUNKEN, Indianapolis Servicemen's Center Cadette, Regiment III, and PFC. Donald R. Zehnter start off the "chow line" with a bun from MISS FANNIE MAE GEISLER of the Canteen Corps of American Red Cross. PFC. Donald R. Zehnter is a member of Company "L" 167th Infantry Regiment, 31st Infantry Division. The famed "Dixie" Division is stationed at Camp Atterbury which is located about thirty-five miles south of Indianapolis, Indiana. PFC. Zehnter will soon be released from the service to return to his home [in Kansas City, Missouri]." |
