Description |
Seven men stand outside of Engine Company No. 6 fire station at 533 West Washington Street circa 1901. They are identified as Augustus H. "Gus" Schafer, William H. Grady, John W. Stake, Capt. James H. Johnson, Hallack K. Pruitt, Bert Swiggett, and Oscar L. Hupp. The building is richly ornamented and bears the year 1874. It has a single bay and an ornate octagonal tower with bell windows and circular dormer windows projecting from the top. |
