Description |
This photograph shows K.P. Singh and Dr. Robert Nelson. Nelson Created the International Center of Indianapolis and was president of the organization. Born in India, Kanwal Prakash (KP) Singh came to the United States in 1965 to pursue further education. In addition to his B.A. from Punjab University, Bachelor of Architecture from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and a Master of Technology degree from I.I.T. Kharagpur, he earned a Master’s degree in City Planning from the University of Michigan. Singh has lived in Indianapolis since 1967 and has been trained as an architect, has written for the Indianapolis Star, is a founding member of the International Center of Indianapolis, and also has a career as an artist (K.P. Singh Designs). |
