DescriptionQuaker Maid was a food processing plant in Terre Haute. In 1930 the original plant opened but within a decade demands were exceeding their capacity and an addition to the facility was needed. In 1953, another expansion was completed. This photo of women bottling French Dressing in 1940 shows the type of industrial jobs women worked in prior to WWII.
