DescriptionThe notice reads: Public Sale. There will be exposed to sale on the 15th of September next at the late residence of ROGER CLEMENTS decd. all the property, both Real and Personal, belongnig to said dec'd. consisting of 290 acres of Land, 7 or 8 likely young Negroes, fine bred Horses, 2 yoke of Oxen, several other cattle, a fine lot of large and small Hogs, good Sheep, one Wagon, Farming utensils, household and kitchen Furniture, Corn in the field, wheat, rye and Hay, &c. &c. The terms for the payment of the land will be made known on the day of sale; the other property will be sold on a credit of 12 month for all sums over $5, under $5 cash in hand. The farm lies in Montgomery c'ty, one & a-half miles north of Mt. Sterling, on the road leading from thence to Maysville. The sale will be attended to by the Executors. August 7th, 1835. Philip Clements, James Clements, Gustavus Clements, Jonathan Clements. Take notice, all persons indebeted to the above estate and that the estate is indebted to, will come forward and let it be known on the day of the sale.
