DescriptionThe S.A. Fletcher & Company Bank was established by Stoughton A. Fletcher, Sr. in 1839. Known as Fletcher's Bank it merged with American National Bank in 1910 and became Fletcher American National Bank with Stoughton A. Fletcher II, grandson of the founder, as president. At the time this photograph was taken in 1921 the building was located at the south east corner of Pennsylvania and Market Streets in Indianapolis.
