DescriptionSt. Joseph's College was founded in 1889 and opened in 1891. In its early years it was both a high school and junior college. It became a four year college in 1936 and remained all male until 1968. The current enrollment is over 1, 000 students. The Main Building (now Drexel Hall) was constructed in 1888 and originally served as an Indian mission school.
