Notable ForMcCutcheon graduated form Purdue University in 1889. He moved to Chicago and worked for the Chicago Morning News in 1895 and wrote front page cartoons. He was a political cartoonist for the Chicago Tribune from 1903-1945. McCutcheon received a Pulitzer Prize in 1932 for his cartoon "A Wise Economist Asks a Question".
