Notable ForLittle Turtle was a Miami Indian chief. He fought against settlers in the Northwest Territory. After the Battle of Fallen Timbers in 1794 he reluctantly signed the Treaty of Greenville giving Indian land to the United States.
DescriptionLittle Turtle is shown wearing a headdress of feathers and large earrings. He is wearing necklaces and one of them appears to be made of bear claws. Another is a medallion. He is also wearing an armband. A blanket is draped over his right shoulder.
