Notable ForWebster was one of the most influential quilt designers of the twentieth century. Her book, "Quilts: Their Story and How to Make Them, " published in 1915, was the first book wrritten on the history of quilting. She ran a successful quilt pattern business from her home in Marion, Indiana, and toured the country giving lectures on quilting. Her home in Marion has been restored and is on the National Historic Register.
