Notable ForCrowe grew up on a farm in Johnson County. He graduated from Indiana Central College and was a public school teacher in Indianapolis. In 1955 he coached the Crispus Attucks High School basketball team to the state championship. It was the first time an all-black school in the country won a state title in an integrated sport. They won again in 1956. In 1957 he became the athletic director for the school. He was elected to the state legislature in 1966 and served five terms.
DescriptionCrowe is wearing a dark suit with a thin stripe. His bow tie has a single stripe across the center. He has a small moustache.
