Notable ForNoel is a poster artist. She received her BA from Mount St. Joseph College in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1967. She taught art to gifted children with emotional and psychological problems and opened the Noel Gallery in Broad Ripple. In the 1970s she painted farm and exotic animals and began accepting commissions to paint portraits of children. During this time she also began painting the Amish and angels.
