DescriptionConstruction of the Brookside at 10th and Beville. The Brookside was a building that was advertised as housing 8 stores and 15 apartments. The Foster Engineering Service Co. commissioned this photograph because it used the Foster "unit slab" a system of reinforced concrete. Upon its completion the building was being rented by Beville and East Tenth Stret Realty Company.
