NotesIn the late 1940s the Indiana Department of Natural Resources took on the task of restoring a 14 mile section of the Whitewater Canal. A grist mill, lock, and aqueduct over Duck Creek were saved and have been operated since 1950 as a state memorial. This map shows the area that was part of the restoration project.
