DescriptionNews of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor December 7, 1941, was broadcast to the nation over radio and by newspapers. Hoosiers were in shock and disbelief. In the months following, posters were printed by government agencies, businesses, and organizations and were displayed in public areas around the state. Their messages helped mobilize citizens and make the war a personal mission for everyone.
