DescriptionA former photographer for his hometown newspaper, the Gary Post-Tribune, John A. Bushemi covered the Pacific War for Yank magazine, a periodical published by and for enlisted men. Bushemi was killed covering the invasion of Eniwetok in the Marshall Islands in February 1944.
